The ISC’s Tip of the Day advises you to Turn off your computer.
This is a fairly sound idea - if you’re not part of the always-on generation (those who both live online at home and work) - there is no need to leave your PC on all the time, connected to the Internet, downloading god-knows-what.
In an example of one-upmanship, there is the old advice that the only secure computer is one which is buried a thousand feet underground, in a lead-lined faraday cage, encased in a metre-thick concrete, switched off and no-where near a power supply.
For those, with a need to actually have a computer that is turned on, The Bunker satisfies a few of these demands.
Of course, this is a bit over the top, so we would suggest the mafia approach - a slightly refined version of the above. It is simply sufficient to encase the system unit in concrete, and drop it into the ocean.
Just be sure when you do turn your PC on, not to talk to the Phishes.
